A lot of users shared helpful reviews for this amazing product. And most of them believed that the product was worth their purchase. Optoma HD66 worked great as what has been advertised. The product arrived in such a short time after the order, and to many, it was presented just as perfect as it was out-of-the box. After few tweaks with color adjustments, most users were pleased as it gave out a very impressive and crisp image quality. Just as what they wanted to see.
But there were several users who found some irregularities on the projector’s first display. According to them, HD66 revealed rainbow effect on its screen. At its first notice, they feared the product might turn out to be a failure. Yet, it turned out to be unnoticeable in the later part of the display. So, they were delighted as it did not mess the quality of the image they were viewing. But there were few users, however, who were totally embarrassed with this rainbow effect on the display. They said it rendered the movies and the display unwatchable. That was totally disappointing for them. Also, few users commented that the color displayed on the projector was terribly distorted. This made them disappointed, too. However, some users countered that this may be remedied with appropriate adjustments on its color contrast or settings.
Most users mounted the Optoma HD66 where they seem fitted, in the ceiling, on shelf or even on a mount-pad. There’s no hassle there, except for few people who were having flaws in its mounting hole, but it never was an issue. Once mounted, users were impressed as HD66 projected well in any type of widescreen. Few others even claimed that the projector worked wonders on a plain white wall.
User’s reviews proved that Optoma HD66 is comfortable with other media formats and video inputs. They pointed out that the projector has HDMI, VGA and RCA inputs and they found no flaws as to their connectivity. They revealed that the HD66 is perfect with DVDs, blue-rays and others media devices. With any of the media players or game systems used, HD66 projects quality and brightness, so they said.
But as to its 3D adaptability, most users were silent about it. According to them, although HD66 is 3D-Ready, they haven’t experienced so much on it as they still have to spend for its adaptor and all other gadgets to complete the 3D viewing. Moreover, they commented that there were not much 3D movies out in the market yet for them to test HD66’s 3D functionality. But all the while, they were so excited about it. Only a number of users disclosed that they were having great time watching their 3D movies with the HD66.

Overall, Optoma HD66 is indeed a great buy for most users. The projector’s flexibility is excellent and the resolution is great, perfect for home-theater viewing. So, it is for you to decide now. You may be one of those who wanted a real fantastic and impressive home-theater.
