Here is an actual reviews from a users:”Honestly I have had this projector for 1 year now and it is the sole source of entertainment at my house (with two children). It is hooked up to our Verizon FIOS cable television, our PS3 (with BluRay player) and our MAC computer for streaming online content. With a click of a button it turns off and it can be changed to the other mentioned outputs. The picture is amazing, The colors in 1080p and even 720p are stunning. It is projected on our dry wall.”

Almost all users viewed that the projector was simply amazing and a great buy for them.  It gave them full satisfaction despite few lapses.  Most users described Optoma HD20 as an awesome projector that comes just perfect out of the box.  For them, it gave out an excellent picture quality compared to their previous projectors.  And it was an easy mount.  More than half of those who gave their reviews on the product have chosen to mount the HD20 in the ceiling to give a perfect projection.  Several others opted to mount the projector in a shelf while others preferred the mount pad.  Whichever it was, all the same, it gave them awesome brightness and quality.  Although there were some who encountered flaws in the mounting hole of the product, it was not much of an issue for them.

There were few others who got problems calibrating the product.  They had tried several attempts until finally came up with their desired settings.  However, many users complained about the appearance of rainbow effect on the projector.  This can be considered as a negative feedback for the unit, yet, others thought the issue can be threshed out after viewing for a longer period, or might be that the problem became unnoticeable after being accustomed to it. Also the black level displayed in HD20 is little bit weak.  But to many, it didn’t bother them much.

Actual usage of HD20 by the users proved the projector to be compatible with any video inputs which they used for movie viewing or game playing, and accordingly, these settings were easy to adjust.  With 1080p resolution, the images turned out to be so clear and look fantastic with these media formats and inputs.  They said it was like seeing a movie in a big screen in the comforts of their own homes.

Even how good the product may seem, still, several users fussed about the projector’s lamp which they found embarrassing.  According to them, it went off after several hours of use contrary to what has been said as to the life of the lamp.  Those who encountered this mess had to spend time of getting in touch with Optoma’s customer service.  And with bad luck, they went through another cost of sending the product back to the company for repair.  For them, this was so embarrassing, if not annoying.  But then, Optoma catered all their problems and made a way to fix them up.
